Makes 6 burgers Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked
  • 6 Village Hearth Wheat Buns
Directions: Shape the ground beef into six patties. Place the patties in a shallow dish. Combine the beer, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion salt, and pepper. Pour the marinade over the burgers. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Flip the burgers over and marinate for an additional 15 minutes. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Cook the burgers about 5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°. Top burgers with cheese slice and two slices of bacon, continue cooking until cheese is melted. Serve on buns.
