Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 4 slices Village Hearth 20-oz Wheat Bread, toasted
  • ½ pound thinly sliced deli chicken breast
  • 8 thin slices tomato
  • 4 thin slices sweet onion
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions: In small bowl, combine butter and mustard. Spread mixture on one side of each toasted slice of bread; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Top each with ¼ of the chicken, 2 slices tomato, 1 slice of onion and 1 slice of Swiss. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley, cut in half diagonally and serve.
