Serves 6 ‒ 8

  • 1 loaf Country Hearth Cinnamon Burst Bread, cut into one-half-inch cubes
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, cubed

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 eggs

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2/3 cup maple syrup

 Spray a 13×9 glass pan with nonstick spray. Place half the bread in prepared pan and dot with cream cheese cubes. Mix together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle casserole with half. Cover with remaining bread. Whisk eggs, milk and syrup together and pour over bread. Sprinkle top with remaining sugar mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 375 degrees for 45‒50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let set for 5‒10 minutes. Serve hot with syrup.
