Serves 4
  •   3 eggs, beaten
  •   1 cup milk
  •   ½ cup half and half
  •   1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  •   1/4 teaspoon salt
  •   8 slices any variety Country Hearth Bread
  •   2 tablespoons butter
  Directions: In a shallow bowl, whisk together first 5 ingredients. Heat electric non-stick frying pan to 375. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, fry on each side until golden brown. Cut in half, dust with powdered sugar and serve with syrup or jam.
