Serves 6 Ingredients:
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Dash of ground black pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese cut into 12 – ½ inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 jar (28 oz) pizza sauce
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package Village Hearth Brat Buns
 
Directions: In a large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Crumble beef and add to mixture. Gently combine using your hands. Form into 12 balls. Push a cheese cube into the center of each ball, forming meat around cheese making sure cheese is completely enclosed. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs on all sides. Remove from pan and remove excess grease. Pour pizza sauce in pan and heat through. Return meatballs and simmer for 30 minutes. To serve, place 2 meatballs in each bun. Top with extra sauce and Parmesan cheese.
