Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • 4 fully cooked smoked bratwurst or sausage
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 (8-oz) can sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 tablespoon honey mustard
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 4 Village Hearth Milwaukee White Brat Buns, toasted
Directions: In a large, nonstick skillet, brown bratwurst or sausage over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Push brats to one side of pan. Add oil, onion and pepper. Cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in sauerkraut, mustard and water. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 10 minutes. Place brats in buns and top with kraut mixture.
