Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • ½ yellow bell pepper
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 Artisan Hearth Onion Rolls, toasted
Directions: Cut peppers lengthwise into thin strips. Heat oil in skillet. Add peppers, garlic and oregano; cook over medium-high heat until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in salt. Shape ground beef into four ½ inch patties. Grill over medium coals until internal temperature reaches 160°, turning once. Season with salt and pepper. Top burgers with a cheese slice. Place grilled burgers on bun bottoms and top with pepper mixture. Cover with bun tops.
