Serves 8 Ingredients:
  • 8 smoked polish sausages
  • 8 Village Hearth Classic White Hot Dog Buns
  • Mango salsa (recipe follows)
  • Pineapple mustard (recipe follows)
Directions: Preheat grill to medium. 
Split buns and grill face down approximately 1 minute until toasted. Remove from heat. 

Grill sausages for 6 – 8 minutes turning occasionally for even grill marks.
 Place sausages in buns and top with salsa and mustard.

Mango Salsa

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons minced red onion
  • 1 small orange bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 hot Chile, seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Toss together all ingredients in a medium bowl; set aside.

Pineapple Mustard

  • 2/3 cup chopped fresh pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 small garlic clove

Directions: Combine mustard ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors.
