Makes 4 burgers Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 package (1 1/4-oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese singles
  • 4 Village Hearth Wheat Hamburger Buns
  • Salsa (optional)
  • Shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Sliced ripe olives (optional)
  • Sour cream (optional)
 
Directions: In a medium bowl, combine turkey and taco seasoning mix. Form into 4 patties.

 Grill or broil burgers over medium heat for 5 – 6 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°. Top each patty with 2 cheese slices during last 2 minutes of cooking time. Serve on buns with desired toppings.
