Makes 2 sandwiches Ingredients:
  •   1 (6 oz.) can water-packed tuna, drained well
  •   1/2 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
  •   Salt and pepper to taste
  •   4 slices Village Hearth Honey Wheat Bread
  •   Softened butter
  •   4 slices American cheese
Directions: In a small mixing bowl, combine tuna and mayonnaise. Stir and mash mixture vigorously until well-combined and almost no flakes of tuna remain. Season with salt and pepper. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place in a large cast iron or nonstick skillet, butter side down. Place 2 slices of cheese on top of 2 bread slices, then mound tuna salad on other 2 slices, spreading in an even layer. Cook on medium heat until bread is browned and crisp and cheese is melted. Close sandwiches; one cheese side and one tuna side.
