Serves 4 Ingredients:
  •   6 eggs
  •   1 ½ cups skim milk
  •   2 tablespoons white sugar
  •   2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  •   2 tablespoons butter
  •   8 slices Village Hearth Whole Grain White Bread
  •   Blueberry sauce (recipe follows)
  •   Cream Cheese Topping (recipe follows)
 
Directions: Mix milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Dip bread slices into egg wash one piece at a time, coating both sides. Melt butter on non-stick griddle set on medium high heat. Grill toast on both sides until golden brown and lightly crisply. Top with blueberry sauce and a dollop of cream cheese topping. Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients:
  •   2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  •   1/2 cup water
  •   1/2 cup sugar
  •   2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  •   2 tablespoons cornstarch, mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water
  •   1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  •   Zest of 1 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
 
Directions: Add all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until sugar melts and the sauce is thick and bubbly. Cream Cheese Topping€
Ingredients:
  •   1 8-oz package cream cheese, softened
  •   2 tablespoons white sugar
  •   2 tablespoons sour cream
  •   2 tablespoons frozen whipped topping, thawed
 
Directions: Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add sugar, sour cream and topping. Continue beating until well combined.
