Makes 8 sandwiches Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 Artisan Hearth Mini Sub Rolls
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3/4 pound deli roast beef
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the peppers and onions. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender.
Cut sub rolls in half. Remove the tops of the buns and place bottom buns on foil lined baking sheet.  Spread with mayonnaise,  top with beef, vegetables and cheese slices. Replace bun tops.
Combine melted butter and garlic powder. Brush butter on rolls.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes until sandwiches are hot and cheese is melted.
