Makes 6 sandwiches Ingredients:
  • 4 (6-oz)packages frozen clam strips
  • Fresh leaf lettuce
  • 6 Artisan Hearth Hoagie Rolls
  • Tartar sauce (recipe below)
Tartar sauce:
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced sweet onion
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoon finely minced dill pickles
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
 
Directions: Mix all sauce ingredients until well blended. (This is actually better if allowed to set in the fridge for a few hours.) Cook clams according to package directions. Spread tartar sauce on buns, top with lettuce and clams.
