Makes 4 sandwiches Ingredients:
  • 2 6-oz cans albacore tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely diced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 slices Country Hearth Split Top White Bread
  • Softened butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° In a small bowl; combine tuna, mayonnaise, and diced onion.
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Heat skillet over medium heat. To make sandwich, place 4 slices of bread butter side down on skillet. Add 1 slice of cheese on each slice, then top with 1/4 of the tuna mixture. Spread tuna evenly over bread. Top with second slice of bread with butter side face up. Once bottom of bread has browned (about 2 minutes), flip and brown the second side. Place sandwiches on cookie sheet and cook in oven for 3 – 5 minutes until cheese is melted and tuna filling is warmed through.
