Makes 2 burgers Ingredients:
  • 2 Artisan Hearth Brioche Buns, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Irish stout beer
  • 2 7-oz burger patties
  • 4 slices sharp Irish cheddar cheese
Directions: Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until beginning to soften. Add stout and continue cooking until beer has reduced to a syrup and onions are very soft. Meanwhile cook burger patties in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until juices begin surfacing. Turn over and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Top with half of the onions and two slices of cheese. Cover pan and continue cooking until cheese has melted and burgers have reached desired doneness. Serve on brioche buns.
