Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups fresh or frozen raspberries, plus additional for garnish
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup low-fat milk
  • Dash of salt
  • 8 slices Village Hearth 20 oz. Premium White Bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Whipped cream
Directions: Cream together cheese and sugar. Mix in vanilla and raspberries. Whisk together eggs, milk and salt in a shallow dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 bread slices. Top with remaining bread to form a sandwich. Melt butter on medium hot griddle or frying pan. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture. Fry on each side for 3 – 5 minutes until golden brown and filling is hot. Top with whipped cream and raspberries.
