Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • 10 slices Lakeland Texas Toast
  • 10 fully cooked sausage links
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • Maple syrup for dipping
Directions: Slice crusts off of bread. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice. Place a sausage link on the front bottom corner of the bread and roll up diagonally. Whisk together remaining ingredients, except the maple syrup. Heat griddle or skillet to 350°. Dip sausage roll ups into the egg mixture, rolling to throughly coat all sides. Place on hot griddle, cooking for approximately 4 minutes, rolling to brown evenly. Serve warm with maple syrup.
